Starting Your Weight Loss Journey

1)Find out whether you are overweight by calculating your BMI (Body Mass Index) using the formula below (or google for a BMI calculator)

BMI CHART
Underweight <18.5
Normal weight 18.5 to 24.9
Overweight 25 to 29.9
Obese 30 and over

2)Set a realistic goal for yourself. You might want to start slow and build it up as you go along.

3)Make a weight loss plan. What sort of weight loss diet are you going to follow? What workout are you going to include in your program?

4)When you have decided on Step 3, create a chart to record your progress.
